Breakfast lovers, get ready to be creative. National Waffle Day is on August 24th and Hampton by Hilton is giving fans the chance to invent a brand-new flavor that will debut across more than 2,450 hotels in the US and Canada.
From August 22nd through September 5th, waffle aficionados are invited to show their love of Hampton’s Belgian waffles by submitting a short video explaining why they’re fans of The Hampton Waffle and what flavor they’d dream up next. Entries can be submitted at hamptonwaffleflavorcontest.com for a shot at becoming Hampton’s very first Guest Waffle Boss.
What’s up for Grabs
The winner won’t just earn bragging rights, they’ll also:
- Create Hampton’s newest limited-time waffle flavor (debuting in 2026)
- Enjoy a five-night stay at any Hampton by Hilton property worldwide
- Receive one million Hilton Honors Points
Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and flavor appeal by a panel of breakfast experts, including Hampton’s very own Beverly Christmas, crowned the brand’s US Waffle Boss after a team member competition in 2024.

Hampton by Hilton’s love affair with waffles is pretty epic. As the first hotel brand to popularize the baked-by-guests Belgian waffle, it has reimagined the breakfast staple with seasonal and limited-time flavors like Birthday Cake, S’mores, Sparkling Strawberry, and Lemon. The winning flavor from this contest will join that lineup next year.
