Lotte New York Palace has been the backdrop for tons of movies and TV shows like Gossip Girl, Will & Grace, 30 Rock, Law & Order, and 27 Dresses. Now, it’s offering fans of the musical (and movie), Wicked, the chance to book a themed experience at the iconic hotel.

The hotel’s “A Spellbinding Stay” package includes a room at Lotte New York Palace (minimum two-night stay required), two Wicked-inspired cocktails at The Gold Room, a keepsake of your choice: The Grimmerie (the ultimate behind-the-scenes guide) or a Chistery (flying monkey) plush, a signed WICKED Playbill (autographed by members of the cast). The package can be booked here.

Hilton Wicked Rate

Rates are far-less than the “Stay Like Wicked” suite that was offered at the New York Hilton Midtown. While the decor might have been more immersive, the nightly price tag between $1,300 and $2,100 plus taxes and fees was rather hefty. This suite closed for reservations on January 26th. The rooms in this package come in closer to $600 per night.

In addition to what is included with the package, Lotte New York Palace invites guests to check out an exclusive showcase of the Tony Award®-winning costumes from Wicked (designed by Susan Hilferty). This behind-the-scenes look features familiar costumes rarely seen beyond the Gershwin Theatre stage. These include Glinda’s glittering bubble gown and Elphaba’s legendary hat.

Anthony’s Take: I love hotel and pop culture tie-ins like this one. This makes a mundane stay so much more enjoyable whether you’re a child or a kid at heart.
