Delta Air Lines opened the Sky Club® at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) less than six months ago in December 2024. The lounge still feels knew and design-wise it is now one of my favorites in Delta’s network. The 14,000-square-foot Sky Club® is located in Concourse A on the mezzanine level, near Gate A32. I had some time to check it out upon arrival yesterday and I was quite impressed.
Access
There are several kiosks and an agent to check in guests. Access is granted to passengers with memberships (purchased annually), one-time pass holders (earned from the co-branded American Express cards), Delta One®, SkyTeam premium cabin passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus when flying internationally in premium cabins, the Centurion® and The Platinum Card® from American Express holders (10 visits per year), Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card holders (15 visits per year), WestJet Business Class passengers, and WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold Elite. Allowed guests vary by access type. A same-day boarding pass is required to enter the Delta Sky Club®. Those with credit card access can purchase additional entries for $50 each after they have used their annual allotments.
Anthony’s Take: This Sky Club® is beautifully designed and offered up an excellent lunch. I loved the amount of seating and that it had many phone booths for private chats and video calls without inconveniencing those around you. I don’t get to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) often, but when I am back I will make it a point to visit this lounge.
Bar
The bar fills the back wall of the lounge. It offers all of the standard spirits, wine, and beer that Delta provides complimentary as well as some premium options for purchase.
In addition to the bar, there was a soda fountain near the buffet.
Iced tea was also found here.
Still and sparkling water were on tap.
A coffee machine and drip coffee were also on offer.
More beverages were found on the opposite side of the lounge.
Food
Lunch was being served during my visit. The buffet had several hot dishes, sandwiches, salad ingredients, premade salads, breads, soups, snacks, dessert, and more.
Flour Tortillas
Beans
Chicken and Peppers
Cilantro Rice
Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup
Tomato Basil Soup
Roast Beef Sliders and Cole Slaw
Mexican Street Corn Salad

Seating & Decor
There is a ton of seating in this Sky Club® (it can seat 246 guests total). A mix of tables, high tops, and desks around the room with lots of natural light offers space for everyone. I loved all of the art in this lounge as well. It felt modern, but with a Southern twist. The lounge was not crowded during my visit and I had just about my pick of any seat.
The seating is broken up into multiple areas. Tables were near the bar.
There were little alcoves and chairs tucked all over.
The area behind reception was particularly quiet and good for working.
A conference table was also there.
The art throughout was fun.
Amenities
This Sky Club® offers free Wi-Fi, restrooms, phone booths, a printer (pictured above), a departure board, and the food and beverages mentioned above.
The departure board was near the entrance.
These are two of many phone booths.
Overall Impression:
This Delta Sky Club® at CLT is impressive. This is not a Delta hub, but the airline has clearly invested in a space that will make passengers want to fly Delta here. It’s well designed, comfortable, and offers plenty of room to work and relax.
