Last month, I wrote about Delta opening a new Sky Club® at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). This is the eighth location at Delta’s mega hub and it’s less than one month old. I had some time between connecting flights today and took the train over to Concourse D to check out the new space. It’s beautifully designed and pretty large with more than 24,000 square feet of space and seating for 500+ guests.
Access
Access is granted to passengers with memberships (purchased annually), one-time pass holders (earned from the co-branded American Express cards), Delta One®, SkyTeam premium cabin passengers, SkyTeam Elite Plus when flying internationally in premium cabins, the Centurion® and The Platinum Card® from American Express holders (10 visits per year), Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card or the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card holders (15 visits per year), WestJet business class passengers, and WestJet Rewards Platinum and Gold Elite. Allowed guests vary by access type. A same-day boarding pass is required to enter the Delta Sky Club®. Those with credit card access can purchase additional entries for $50 each after they have used their annual allotments or for guests.
Anthony’s Take: I loved the latest addition to Delta’s lounge network. The lunch was delicious, I had no problem finding a seat, and the design is gorgeous. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here versus some of the other locations if I were not near, but it’s a great space and one that Delta should be proud to share with guests. This is Delta’s first lounge opening at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) since 2016 and is the second largest that Delta operates at there.
There are kiosks to verify access on the left side upon entering.
A desk with agents (they were standing off to the side) is behind the kiosks.
Elevators and stairs are past the desk. The lounge is located one floor above this reception area.
The lounge offers two elevators and they were both speedy.
A desk is the first thing you encounter when exiting the elevators. Agents were here to assist guests.
Bar
A bar fills the center of the lounge. It offers all of the standard spirits, wine, and beer that Delta provides complimentary as well as some premium options for purchase.
There were also two beverage stations in the lounge. Each offered coffee machines, drip coffee, iced tea, lemonade, sparkling water, and a soda fountain.

Food
Lunch/dinner was being served during my visit. The buffet had soup, salads, sandwiches, cheese, cold cuts, hummus, a few hot dishes, snacks, and desserts. I had lunch here and enjoyed my meal.

Seating & Decor
As mentioned above, there is tons of seating in this Sky Club® (it can accommodate 500+ guests). There are lots of tables, high tops, phone booths, and desks around the lounge. I like that they are all segmented into smaller spaces. Everything still looked and felt new. The art throughout the lounge is modern and fun.

A TV viewing area was straight ahead when entering the lounge.
Comfy banquettes and outlets are a great combo.
Phone booths were in the very back corner of the space.
Seating was tucked into every part of the floor plan.
This table was near the entrance.
I liked the natural light and all of the seats positioned to look outside.
I liked a lot of the art. These were some of my favorite pieces.
There were also some plants around the lounge.

This Sky Club® offers free Wi-Fi, restrooms, the departure boards (pictured above), and the food and beverages mentioned.
Overall Impression:
This Delta Sky Club® in Terminal D at ATL might be my new favorite. This could be because it just opened, but I really liked the design and space, overall.
