Fortune released its annual 100 Best Companies to Work For® list for 2025 and five travel providers made the list. Hilton took the top spot for the entire list of 100 with Marriott International (number eight), Delta Air Lines (number 15), IHG Hotels & Resorts (number 17), and Hyatt Hotels Corporation (number 66) all posting good showings.
To determine the 100 Best Companies to Work For, Great Place To Work® anonymously surveyed more than 500,000 employees from Great Place To Work Certified™ companies with at least 1,000 workers. These employers also described their “efforts to offer strong and innovative support for workers.” These were then validated against employee surveys.
Hilton
This is Hilton’s 10th appearance on the prestigious list and fourth overall ranking in the top spot. Some of the reasons why the hotel giant scored so well are tied to its programs that offer comprehensive wellness coverage, complimentary courses through Hilton University, barrier-free education through the company’s partnership with Guild, and a mentorship program through a partnership with MentorcliQ. The company also offers discounted room rates and other travel benefits to its more than 500,000 employees.
Marriott International
Marriott International took the number eight spot this year. It consistently ranks high for its employee-centric culture, benefits, and career opportunities, as well as for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. It has been on this list for the past 28 consecutive years, which represents every year since the list has been published.
Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines made the list for the sixth consecutive year and took the number eight spot in 2025. It is the only airline on the list of 100 companies. Delta’s investments in career development and has some of the happiest employees. Its profit sharing is industry leading and another key differentiator. Delta shared $1.4B with employees worldwide this past February.
IHG Hotels & Resorts
IHG Hotels & Resorts came in at number 17 this year. This ranking underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to enhancing workplace culture and colleague benefits. IHG’s commitment to being a top employer is evidenced by its unique culture and wide array of benefits in the US that support the different needs of each of its employees and their families.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation
Hyatt Hotels Corporation is on the list at number 66. This is Hyatt’s 12th consecutive year appearing in the top 100. Over the past few years, Hyatt has invested in evolving its culture, systems, and technologies. Hyatt says that it “is proud to distinguish itself through development programs that cultivate future leaders and by listening to colleague feedback to shape a more effective and purposeful colleague experience.”
