I first visited the United Club℠ Fly at Denver International Airport (DEN) (full review here) shortly after it opened in late 2022. It’s a new lounge concept with grab-and-go packaged food, a barista, and beverages ready to take with you on your flight. Now, it’s being reported that a second location is under construction at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

I first saw the news mentioned on FlyerTalk that a new United Club℠ Fly was under construction in Terminal B at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This location will open in early 2025. Little is officially known about the new United Club℠ Fly, but I expect it will be similar to the first location.

Food Case United Club Fly

United Club℠ Fly is open for grab-and-go food and beverages from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily at Denver International Airport (DEN). The tiny lounge can only seat 16 guests, but that is not what it’s meant for as the real draw here is the ability to take food and beverages with you when you don’t have time to relax and eat in a full-service lounge.

Automated Access DEN

Entry is granted to the following guests:

  • United Club℠ members
  • Travelers in premium cabins flying internationally
  • United Club℠ one-time pass holders

Guests are not allowed, but I have seen people take multiple items for their families while visiting. There is a good selection of sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages in the existing location. Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) sees lots of connecting passengers (like Denver) and it makes sense to add a second United Club℠ Fly here.

Anthony’s Take: I have been impressed with the United Club℠ Fly the few times I visited and hope United rolls these out across its hubs. I look forward to checking out the new one this spring.
