Breeze Airways is adding two new routes as part of its latest expansion. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) will soon see flights to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft (and some Embraer E190s). I recently flew Breeze for a second time and loved the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the second consecutive year in 2023. Breeze serves 60 cities in 31 states.

New flights begin on February 5th and will run 6x weekly. Breeze will also be bringing back service between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which will also be 6x weekly. @IshrionA makes a good point on X. With these flights, Breeze is making it possible for passengers in Los Angeles and Las Vegas to reach nine cities with a single stop. These include:

  • Charleston International Airport (CHS)
  • Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
  • Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF)
  • Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
  • Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA)
  • Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
  • Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
  • Richmond International Airport (RIC)
  • Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)

Anthony’s Take: I like to see that Breeze is continuing to expand. The carrier seems to be finding its footing and ways to carve out a profitable route network.
