I love when companies poke fun at themselves and join in the fun that is April Fools’ Day. Airlines, tourist attractions, and even airports have been posting today with some clever and funny takes. Here are some of my favorites.

Tampa International Airport (TPA)
Tampa is my home airport in the winter and I love it for its great layout, ease of getting from curb to gate, and the number of flights it offers for a smaller airport. One other standout feature is its giant flamingo statue named “Phoebe.” Apparently, Phoebe hit the road today to take in Spring Break in Tampa Bay.

Empire State Building
Sure, you can dine in the Eiffel Tower (in both Paris and Las Vegas), but what about a restaurant high atop the Empire State Building? Rainforest Cafe is apparently coming to the NYC landmark.

From the streets to the skies. This month we’re bringing NYC’s iconic @NathansFranks to our JetBlue snack carts. 🌭🌭🌭 pic.twitter.com/NGl8fcbVkJ

JetBlue
Poor JetBlue needs a win after its big loss in the Spirit merger plan. Bringing Nathan’s hot dogs on its flights would certainly help (although that umbrella is never getting down the aisle).
