If you’re single, love travel, and are seeking love (or just a good time), then this might be right for you.

Matt Wurnig 50 dates

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, Matt Wurnig (pictured above in a photo from his site) set the task of going on 50 virtual dates with women from all 50 states. He documented these dates on TikTok and grew a huge following in the process. After restrictions lifted, he hopped in his pickup truck and headed out to meet these dates in person. In the process, he amassed over 70 million views and set off on a second season with more dates.

Olivia Stapleton

Now, the concept is growing with a new traveler selected to go on another spree of dates across all 50 states. Olivia Stapleton (pictured in a photo provided to the Minnesota Star Tribune above) was chosen from over 1,200 applicants to head out on this six-month journey. She’ll average around eight dates a month. She will be traveling with Wurnig and it will all be documented on TikTok and other social media platforms. Wurnig says that he runs background checks on all potential dates and then plans meals and activities unique to each state.

Anthony’s Take: This is a cute concept and a great way to see every state. I still have quite a few states to visit and am a bit envious that they’ll get to see all of them in such a short time.

Tough gig. She gets free travel and he gets to tour the country with a total dime.
