After landing at LGA from BOS (full recap here), I had now checked off six hubs. I needed to get from LGA to JFK, but I had a few hours before my flight. I decided to run to the new Sky Club® that I reviewed earlier this week to use the restroom and grab something to eat.
When I was ready to go, I ordered an Uber. Uber X and Uber Black were only a nominal difference, so I took an Uber Black for $66.
The car came quickly and took about 30 minutes to get me to JFK. Hub number seven checked off the list.
Terminal 4 is still decked out for the holidays.
Since I had time, I went to the Sky Club®, had breakfast, and took a shower. I’ll have a full review of this lounge in the next few days.
The flight boarded on time from Gate B46. It was a Delta Connection flight operated Endeavor Air. While we boarded on time, we sat for a while since there was a weight and balance issue.
The flight took around two hours.
A snack basket was served and I again selected my favorites: Miss Vickie’s Sea Salt Potato Chips and Michel & Augustin Milk Chocolate and Melty Caramel Cookie Squares along with a ginger ale to drink.
The flight landed 13 minutes late and I checked hub number eight off the list. I have a few hours before my flight to ATL (the final hub).
Anthony’s Take: This flight was also quick. We arrived 13 minutes late. Service was mediocre and task oriented. Two more flights and I’m home!
