As mentioned in the last post, we landed 33 minutes early and I had enough time for both a visit to the Sky Club® and to grab my iced latte from Starbucks®. Five hubs were now crossed off the list: MSP, SLC, SEA, LAX, and BOS (with LGA soon to be added).

BOS to LGA Board

The flight boarded on time from Gate A2. Apparently, the flight was oversold. As I approached, the agent was asking for volunteers and offering $800 gift cards. I overheard one passenger comment that it worth taking it and renting a car to drive to NYC.

I boarded the Embraer 175 operated by Republic Airways and felt ready to sleep. But, that wasn’t happening as the flight was only 35 minutes long. Plus, I still had to get to LGA, JFK, DTW, and ATL before heading home to TPA.

BOS Clouds

The sun came up as we were taxiing and was pretty bright as we cut through the clouds to reach our cruising altitude.

BOS to LGA Galley

There was no service onboard other than the flight attendant working the front quickly offering beverages and then hiding in the galley for the rest of the flight.

DL5612 Flight Status

We landed 25 minutes early and a gate was ready for our arrival.

LGA Sky Club Seating

I decided to run to the new Sky Club® that I reviewed earlier this week to use the restroom and grab something to eat. Off to JFK now. Time to grab an Uber and be on my way to hub number seven.

Anthony’s Take: This flight was quick and uneventful. We arrived 25 minutes early. Another early arrival. Aside from my flight to SLC, every flight as landed ahead of schedule. Three more flights and then bed!
