Silver Airways is a regional airline headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It flies to the Caribbean and to a handful of cities in the southeast. I’ve flown them to San Juan, Great Exuma, and St. Kitts. Flights are quick and the service is generally good. I live in Tampa, FL during the winter and Silver Airways currently has eight routes served from there in the Southeast (plus Nassau and Marsh Harbour in The Bahamas). The carrier announced today that it is returning to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) with five routes.

All of these additions will start in early March. Flights from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) include:

  • Marsh Harbour Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MHH) (3x weekly; starts on March 5th)
  • Nassau Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) (daily; starts on March 5th)
  • Pensacola International Airport (PNS) (daily; starts on March 7th)
  • Tallahassee International Airport (3x weekly; starts on March 6th)
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA) (daily; starts on March 5th)

Anthony’s Take: Silver Airways has lots of attractive options to get to the Caribbean this winter, including eight destinations from my winter home airport: Tampa International Airport (TPA). It’s great to see the carrier return to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI).
