Comedian, Cindy Arena, was recently flying with her two children (ages four and six). The three passengers did not have seats together. When Arena asked the other woman seated next to her children to switch, she refused. So, she took her assigned seat and let the passenger deal with her kids for the flight.

Arena tells her story in the TikTok video above where the passenger refused to get up, so she left her children seated next to her. She knew that they would act out a bit (as they’re four and six years old). When they did, a flight attendant asked her to switch. She refused and got the last laugh in being able to have a peaceful flight while the passenger had to deal with her children’s antics.

Anthony’s Take: I would think that anyone would switch seats for a mother to sit with her young children as long as it was like for like on the swap. This is funny and a refreshing change from so many parents that would throw a fit over their poor planning in seat selection.

This woman cackles with glee over leaving her ill-behaved offspring unattended after she f—–d up through poor planning? And she’s a comedian? Talk about a warped sense of humor. I wonder what she does for an encore, rips legs off of flies? Talk about a manifestly unfit parent.

Shitty parents like her are why we’ve gotten here. Take some responsibility.

I’m guessing it was not a like for like swap proposed. “Hi, would you change from 12D next to my children to 35E?”
Thanks but no thanks, I’ll take the kids.

The woman said “as long as your seat is a window seat, I’m happy to trade. I don’t know how long the flight was but I don’t like sitting in the middle seat which is why I buy in advance so I can pick with a lot of options. This mother clearly didn’t do that.
