Marriott has a portfolio filled with some of the most luxurious hotels around the world. Brands like The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, EDITION, JW Marriott and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts offer guests pampering and relaxation globally. There are now 500 hotels that fall within the luxury category for Marriott with 24 slated to open next year.
The St. Regis Riyadh is the 500th luxury property that Marriott has opened. The hotel chain now operates in 69 countries and territories with five new hotels slated to open before the end of 2023. There are an additional 200+ luxury hotels and resorts in its global development pipeline. These include 24 properties scheduled to open in 2024, including:
- Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve (Red Sea, Saudi Arabia)
- Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve (Nacascolo, Costa Rica)
- St. Regis Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas, Mexico)
- St. Regis Cap Cana (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic)
- St. Regis Longboat Key (Longboat Key, FL, United States)
- W Prague (Prague, Czech Republic)
- The Jeddah EDITION (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia)
- JW Marriott Nairobi (Nairobi, Kenya)
- JW Marriott Auckland (Auckland, New Zealand)
In addition to the hotels above, The Luxury Collection will open hotels in Madrid, Spain; Munich, Germany; Nice, France; Isla Mujeres, Mexico; Labuan, Indonesia; and Sindalah, Saudi Arabia. Renovations are also planned at the W New York – Union Square, W Hollywood, W Austin, and W New Orleans – French Quarter. I’ve stayed at all of these properties and look forward to seeing their renovations.
