Earlier today, I wrote about a man in Málaga, Spain who ran down the jet bridge thinking he could jump off to get on his departing plane. He ended up falling 12 feet onto the tarmac. Now, it looks like another passenger missed a flight and took to the gate’s PA system to demand boarding.

Off the Beaten Points first reported on this scene at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). He calls for security, but I bet he’s not going to get the assistance he wants. TikTok user @kieraadavisss uploaded this video a few hours ago from Gate C10.

Anthony’s Take: Let’s use some common sense, people. If the door is closed, you’re not getting on the flight. You can bang on the door, use the PA, have a temper tantrum, or jump off the end of the jet bridge. The end result will be the same: the plane is leaving without you.

I’ve had the jetway door re-opened for me twice. Once it was in the mid-1980’s, United Airlines flight IAH-SFO. Another was an early 1990’s, Northwest Airlink flight on a Saab SF340 where they opened the glass door of the terminal to the plane.
