If you’re a runner or know someone that likes to push themselves by running long distances, United is currently offering MileagePlus® members free entry into the NYC Half Marathon in March 2023.

NYC Half

Entry is complimentary. As I was writing this post, 68 spots remained. Registration is found on the United MileagePlus® Exclusives site.

Here are the terms from United:

Don’t miss this opportunity to secure a spot in one of the most exciting and talent-packed half marathons, the 2023 United Airlines® NYC Half, on Sunday, March 19, 2023. This year, United returns as the title sponsor of the 2023 United Airlines® NYC Half. The race has drawn thousands of runners from across the globe but unfortunately, not every runner was able to be selected in the race lottery. However, United is proud to support runners’ journeys and is offering select MileagePlus® members a chance to run in the race.

Reserve your place on the starting line now.

This experience includes*:

  • One guaranteed entry to the 2023 United Airlines NYC Half on Sunday, March 19, 2023
    • MileagePlus program members are required to pay registration fee through NYRR invitation

* Limited one spot per member.
* United Airlines Runner Tent tickets are non-transferrable.

United Airlines is the title sponsor of the 2023 United Airlines NYC Half.

Anthony’s Take: I’m not a runner (I love my Peloton, but you won’t see me running or biking outside), but I know several who would love the opportunity to push themselves here. It’s nice that United is opening this up for some MileagePlus® members.

This is not a free entry. You still have to pay the registration fee to NYRR.

Thanks for pointing that out. I edited the post. Looks like only 11 spots remain.
