Golf fans will find it easier than ever to check out the action (is there really action on a golf course?) at the 2025 Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA. Delta Air Lines will fly up to 1,900 seats daily to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) including from some non-hub airports this April.
The Augusta National Golf Club will hold this year’s tournament and Delta has beefed up its schedule with 15% more capacity than in 2024. This includes:
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) (8x daily from April 6th to 14th)
- Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) (1x daily on April 9th, 11th, and 14th)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (1x daily from April 6th to 14th)
- Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) (1x daily from April 6th to 14th)
- Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) (1x daily from April 6th to 14th)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (1x daily on April 9th, 11th, and 14th)
- New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) (2x daily from April 6th to 14th)
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) (1x daily on April 9th, 11th, and 14th)
- Westchester County Airport (HPN) (1x daily on April 9th, 11th, and 14th)
Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, said:
As Delta celebrates its Centennial year, we’re proud to welcome Masters patrons to our home state of Georgia for the iconic Masters Tournament. With new service from Minneapolis and White Plains, and increased frequency from LaGuardia, we’re making it easier than ever to connect to this world-renowned event.”
Anthony’s Take: My father was a golf fanatic, but I never got the chance to go to a tournament with him while he was with us. I can’t say I find it particularly interesting, but I know there are die-hard golfers who would love to be at the Masters.
