JetBlue has expanded its partnership with China Airlines by introducing reciprocal points redemptions. These give travelers more flexibility to use loyalty rewards across both carriers’ networks.

Members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue program can now redeem points for eligible flights operated by China Airlines directly through JetBlue’s website and mobile app. At the same time, China Airlines’ Dynasty Flyer members will be able to use their miles to book flights across JetBlue’s network. The update builds on the existing interline agreement between the two airlines and is part of JetBlue’s broader strategy to enhance the value of its loyalty program by expanding global partnerships.

With the addition of China Airlines redemptions, TrueBlue members gain access to a wide range of destinations across Asia, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, and Manila. Travelers can also book both standard and premium cabin experiences using points, which offers more options for long-haul travel.

Ed Pouthier, Vice President of Loyalty and Personalization at JetBlue, said:

China Airlines is an exciting addition to our growing list of TrueBlue loyalty partners, giving our members new opportunities to explore exciting destinations across Asia through China Airlines’ extensive network and award-winning long-haul service. This enhancement better connects the large Asian American communities living in New York City and beyond and offers even more options to redeem TrueBlue points when flying to Asia.”

Southwest China Airlines

China Airlines also partners with Southwest and is a member of SkyTeam. There are lots of ways to snag award seats on these flghts.

Anthony’s Take: Like its other partnerships, this move strengthens JetBlue’s international reach without operating its own flights in the region and gives customers new ways to explore Asia using its points.
