Marriott Bonvoy® offers members who stay 50 (and then another 25 nights) within a calendar year the opportunity to choose what it calls “Choice Benefits.” The selection site is now live. I crossed the 50-night threshold last week and made my first selection today.
Upon reaching 50 nights stayed at Marriott Bonvoy® properties (or earned through promos and credit cards), members can choose their first benefit.
Choices include:
- Nightly Upgrade Awards (five) to redeem for upgrades to select premium rooms or suites
- Savings of $1,000 on Your Favorite Bed from Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques
- The ability to gift Marriott Bonvoy® Silver Elite Status
- A $100 donation to the Arne M. Sorenson Hospitality Fund
- A $100 donation to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)
- A $100 donation to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
- A $100 donation to the Children’s Miracle Network
- The ability to add Elite Night Credits (five) to your 2026 total to reach status faster in 2027
At 75 nights, you can choose any of the above or one of these:
- A Free Night Award with a value of up to 40,000 points
- The ability to gift Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite Status
What Did I Choose?
I went with the choice I always make: Nightly Upgrade Awards. I find value in these and always find a way to redeem them.
Anthony’s Take: Marriott Bonvoy® Choice Benefits are live. I made my 50-night selection and will choose the free night when I hit 75 later this year. If you’re eligible, go make your choices now.
