A passenger at Valencia Airport (VLC) somehow got out onto the airport’s apron and then climbed on top of a Vueling aircraft that was planning to depart the Spanish airport yesterday. It’s unknown how the man managed to get up onto the Airbus A320.
His shenanigans thankfully ended without injuries, but he did cause the flight to delay before he was eventually evacuated in an ambulance. The man was brought to to the Psychiatric Unit of the General Hospital of Valencia for psychiatric evaluation as it’s noted that he appeared to have some sort of psychotic break. Allegedly, the man was in the airport the day before asking about flights to Morocco.
Anthony’s Take: No further details have been released. Thankfully, the man was removed without injury. I hope that he gets the help that he needs.
