Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced a series of special flights ahead of the FIFA World Cup. These include nonstop flights to Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) tied to Argentina’s group-stage matches. The carrier will also introduce a new permanent route between Córdoba Airport (ODB) and Miami International Airport (MIA).
For World Cup travel, the airline plans two charter-style flights to Kansas City International Airport (MCI) for Argentina’s match against Algeria on June 16th (one arriving the day before kickoff and another arriving on match day). Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will see a larger schedule with four flights linked to Argentina’s matches against Austria on June 22nd and Jordan on June 27th. The airline will operate one flight on the eve of the game and another on the day of the match.

Beyond the tournament, Aerolíneas Argentinas is expanding its long-haul network with the introduction of a nonstop Córdoba Airport (ODB) to/from Miami International Airport (MIA) flights (beginning June 5th). The route will operate 2x weekly on Fridays and Sundays using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The new service will continue as a regular scheduled route after the World Cup, marking a notable boost to Argentina’s regional international connectivity.
The airline’s existing Buenos Aires’ Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) to/from Miami International Airport (MIA) route will increase to 18x weekly flights (offering up to 3x daily departures with daytime and nighttime options).
Anthony’s Take: World Cup will draw players and fans from around the world. It makes sense for Aerolíneas Argentinas to beef up its schedule and offer some new, nonstop flights.
