Spirit Airlines is marking a major milestone in Chicago as it celebrates 25 years at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). Since launching operations back in 2000, Spirit has offered affordable, nonstop service to destinations across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary, Spirit is offering customers a special promotion of 25% off base fares using promo code “25PCT.” The discount applies to one-way travel from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) booked between October 6th and October 12th for travel between October 20th and December 10th.
In addition to discounted fares, Spirit’s Free Spirit® loyalty members can earn 1,500 bonus points on roundtrip flights and 750 bonus points on one-way flights to and from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). To qualify for the bonus offer, flights must be booked by October 14th and flown by November 12th.
Terms & Conditions:
- The 25% discount will apply only to the base fare for one-way travel from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) or the originating flight from ORD if purchased as part of a connecting and/or round trip, including the flight portion of a vacation package, regardless of travel option selected, purchased at spirit.com or via Spirit’s app.

- The discount does not apply to Y, B, or H class fares, which are our highest fares and may be the only fares available on some dates or flights.
