United Airlines currently offers flights to/from Palm Springs International Airports (PSP) and four of its hubs: Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Denver International Airport (DEN), Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), and San Francisco International Airport (SFO). On December 18th, it will bring back nonstop service to/from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). It has been more than five years since United last offered this route.
Flights will be offered between 5x and 7x per week using Boeing 737-700 aircraft. These have 12 First Class, 36 Economy Plus®, and 78 Economy Class seats. I love Palm Springs and last took United’s flights to/from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
Anthony’s Take: United has been cutting some domestic routes lately. All of the troubles at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) had the carrier hack frequency as well as some other routes based on demand.
