Delta Air Lines is also adding nonstop flights between both Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) for Super Bowl LIX. The Atlanta-based carrier joins American, Frontier, Southwest, and United in adding additional flights.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) will see a flight on both Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). These will be operated by Airbus A321 and Boeing 757-200 aircraft. The Airbus A321 offers 20 First Class, 29 Comfort+, and 143 Main Cabin seats. The Boeing 757-200 has the same number of seats in First Class and Comfort+, but offers 150 in the Main Cabin. Two return flights will takeoff on Monday, February 10th using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

Those attending the game from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) will be able to fly Delta on Friday, February 7th and return on one of two flights on Monday, February 10th. These will all be flown with Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

Anthony’s Take: If you’re planning on going to Super Bowl LIX and are flying from Kansas City or Philadelphia, you now have your pick of carriers to get to and from the game.

I see articles have been written on this for every carrier adding flights except AA. Why the bias?
