The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is an annual trade show held by the Consumer Technology Association (from January 7th to 10th in 2025) at the Las Vegas Convention Center. I attended for many years and it’s great to be able to see what technology, gadgets, and innovations are coming next. Airlines generally add nonstop flights for the show and some of those routes are already starting to pop up.

Last week, I wrote about American Airlines connecting London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) (more here). Now, Delta Air Lines has added a few nonstop flights during this huge trade show. Nonstop CES flights to/from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) include:

  • Miami International Airport (MIA) (1x daily; January 5th and 6th to Las Vegas and January 9th and 10th return)
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO) (1x daily; January 5th and 6th to Las Vegas and January 9th and 10th return)

These flights will be operated by a Boeing 757 with 20 First Class, 29 Comfort+, and 150 Main Cabin seats.

Delta is also adding a single flight from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) on January 10th. Two flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) are available on January 10th and 11th.

Both of these routes will use an Airbus A330-900neo with 29 Delta One®, 28 Premium Select, 56 Comfort+, and 168 Main Cabin seats.

Finally, a single flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is flying January 10th on an Airbus A330-300 with 34 Delta One®, 21 Premium Select, 24 Comfort+, and 203 Main Cabin seats.

Not CES-related, but Delta will also launch 2x daily flights between Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) on January 2nd. These will be operated by SkyWest on Embraer E175 aircraft with 12 First Class, 20 Comfort+, and 38 Main Cabin seats.

Anthony’s Take: CES was a big part of my life for almost 20 years. I miss the show and all of the new gadgets. I know I’ll be back again in the future (2025 doesn’t seem likely, but who knows?). I’ll keep an eye out for other announcements from airlines connecting attendees from across the country and around the world with nonstop flights.

By chance do we happen to know if there is any info on the positioning for these planes. Last year I know delta flew LAS-MSP on the 350 for pretty cheap. Is anything like that happening again this year??
