Avelo competes with Spirit Airways, Breeze Airways, Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines. The carrier announced three new routes to/from Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) today.

The new routes include:
- Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) (2x weekly; starts on June 14th)
- St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) (2x weekly; starts on June 13th)
- Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport (1x weekly; starts on June 15th)
