EDITION Hotels redefined modern luxury with an aesthetic concepted by Ian Schrager. The brand appeals to affluent, culturally savvy, and service-savvy guests and currently operates 17 hotels in New York, Miami Beach, West Hollywood, Tampa, Barcelona, Bodrum, London, Reykjavik, Madrid, Rome, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sanya, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The latest location in Singapore opens this month.
The Singapore location will be the first Southeast Asian outpost for EDITION. The 204-room hotel (including 24 suites) offers seamless access to nature with greenery integrated throughout including a skypark and sunken garden that offers a tranquil escape from Singapore’s Orchard Road shopping district.
Amenities include four restaurants and bars, a rooftop pool, spa, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor meeting space for events. Chef Josh Niland will launch a first-of-its-kind concept featuring ethically sourced seafood and fish dishes.
Anthony’s Take: I have yet to stay at an EDITION hotel, but I love the design and feel of the hotels. My only gripe is that elite benefits are limited even though the hotels are part of Marriott Bonvoy®. I hope to check out the EDITION in Tampa this winter for a little staycation.
