I was in Los Angeles and Chicago for work this week. This let me try a few more meals on board United flights and head back to the United Club℠ at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). There were also lots of route announcements, lounge openings, American kept its elite status requirements unchanged, and more.

UA Los Angeles Meal 1

Airlines

United’s in-flight catering is improving, JetBlue is adding a First Class cabin, Air Canada will offer free Wi-Fi, and route announcements from Avelo, JetBlue, Hawaiian, Alaska, Fiji Airways, and more.

Hyatt Regency Columbus 12

Hotels

My second review of the Hyatt Regency Columbus, some Delta elites get free Hilton status, the Waldorf Astoria New York is taking reservations, and more.

United Club LAX 35

Lounges

My thoughts on the United Club℠ at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Alaska is opening more lounges, LOT Polish set a date for the opening of its lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), and more.

Flamingo 3

Travel News & Destinations

Feeding flamingos in Aruba and AAA is prepping to break more travel records this holiday season.

Weed IAD

Passengers Behaving Badly

A Texas woman was arrested with an obscene amount of weed at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), a passenger tried to hijack a plane, and another man ripped his shirt off an assaulted a flight attendant this week.
