I had eaten dinner at GIADA before and loved my meal. When we stayed at The Cromwell Hotel Las Vegas, I decided that we should try out what Giada De Laurentiis was cooking up for brunch. The meal was delicious and we lucked into a table overlooking the Strip for great views throughout the meal.
Anthony’s Take: GIADA offers a great variety of Italian and American favorites for brunch. Everything we tasted was just about perfect and the service was also good. I highly recommend GIADA for brunch or dinner. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and overall experience.
Decor & Vibe
The restaurant is bright and airy. It’s comfortable and has some fun touches to make you feel like you’re in an old, Italian film.
The restaurant is reached by taking an escalator up one floor from the lobby/casino.
At the top is a small sitting area with the entrance to the restaurant on the right.
The dining room is bright and airy. A bar lines one wall along with an oven and some cases drying pasta.
I loved the art around the dining room.
Booths are comfortable and without pretense.
Our table was right by the window and overlooking the Strip.
These tables generally command a $25 per person fee. The restaurant was not busy during our visit and this was waived.
Food
The menu is pretty thorough. Everything that we tried was excellent. There are several appetizers, breakfast dishes, pastas, salads, panini, and more.
We started with Giada’s Fresh Pastry Assortment. Do not skip this one. Each item was perfectly baked and delicious. It included a Gluten-Free Blueberry Muffin, Rosemary Parmesan Scone, Pain au Chocolat, and a Strawberry Cheesecake Danish.
For a second starter, we also had the Salumi & Formaggi. It included Pecorino Toscano, Prosciutto di Parma, Buffalo Mozzarella, Sweet Soppressata, honey, fruit, and more. It was another great way to start the meal.
For an entree, I had the Lobster Hash. It was so filling and tasty. Service jumped the gun a bit and brought our entrees moments after our apps. I asked them to hold them and it seemed like the dishes were remade.
My husband went with the Caprese Frittata. He loved it and remarked on how fresh the ingredients were in the dish.
Condiments were brought to the table with our mains.
Drinks
GIADA offers an extensive wine list, cocktails, and a full bar. We ordered a White Peach Bellini and an Arnold Palmer along with a bottle of water.
The drinks were both well made.
Overall Impression:
The food, service, and atmosphere all impressed me at GIADA on this visit as they all had in the past. We enjoyed the meal thoroughly and will return again when we’re in Las Vegas.
