A couple traveling home from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) caused quite a scene at the gate when their Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) flight was delayed. One of the men had a complete meltdown, which included screaming at passengers around the gate area and cursing out a woman in a wheelchair who was also waiting for the American Airlines flight.

The Daily Mail identified Dustin Miller, 42, as the man screaming “American Airlines have f**ked us over!” while his husband, Anthony Thorne, 40, tried to calm him down and get him to think of the “girls,” which refers to the couple’s pet dogs, Shelby and Dolly (a reference to Steel Magnolias). Miller was having none of it and shouted, cursed, and even pushed his Louis-Vuitton toting husband out of the way as he went on a tirade at the gate.

CLT Man

It’s uncertain as to what caused this outburst, but it continues to escalate throughout the video with it culminating in Miller telling a wheelchair-bound woman, “F**k off, bitch!” Thorne repeatedly tried to get Miller to relax, but he was not having it. The video cuts out before it’s seen whether they actually were allowed to fly or if any other drama ensued.

CLT Man 3

My favorite part of the video has to be the little girl in the background smiling and thoroughly enjoying this man’s temper tantrum.

Anthony’s Take: Travel delays and cancellations happen. It’s unknown if Miller is intoxicated here or what caused him to react so aggressively. Just wait, I’m sure the “Think of the Girls” t-shirts are already being printed and these two are destined to become the source of memes for quite some time to come.

The video has amassed 13.7M views so far. I’m sure his manners will be the talk of Wilton Manors for days. The gurls will be thrilled.
