Earlier today, I wrote about the St. Regis Longboat Key opening. I did not realize at the time that this was not just another hotel opening (although I am excited to go here), but that it was also the 9,000th property in the Marriott portfolio.
Members staying at the St. Regis Longboat Key today through Sunday, August 18th will receive 9,000 Marriott Bonvoy® points.

By my count, this is actually 35 brands. Marriott has tons of properties in its pipeline and there are some coming over the next few years that are exciting.
Anthony’s Take: Marriott Bonvoy® has long been one of my preferred hotel loyalty programs (dating back to SPG). I know that no matter where I am in the world that I can find a Marriott-affiliated property. I hold Lifetime Platinum status and continue to maintain Titanium each year. Congrats on 9,000, Marriott!
