Lufthansa’s first aircraft equipped with its new Allegris (Business Class) cabin went into service on May 1st (more here). The first Airbus A350-900 with Allegris installed took flight from Munich International Airport (MUC) to Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Now, Lufthansa has announced that some Allegris passengers will have access to the Quest 3 virtual reality headsets.

Meta says that it will offer select passengers an immersive cinema experiences with selected TV shows and movies, travel podcasts with spatial videos and select 360-degree video content, bird’s-eye views with virtual sightseeing of travel destinations, interactive games, and meditation exercises.
Anthony’s Take: Connecting to Wi-Fi and then being able to use a Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headset in flight will make the trip go faster with plenty of content to keep passengers occupied.
