In February 2024, I wrote about how Hilton and Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) entered into a partnership. This strategic agreement spelled the end of the Hyatt deal and sure enough that was also announced shortly after. Hilton has been incorporating many of the SLH properties into its systems and it added nearly 300 of them in July, another 102 were added in September, and now 30 more are bookable through Hilton for both paid stays and award redemptions (a few fell off over the course of the year if you’re doing the math).
Since last year, Hilton Honors members can earn and redeem points at SLH properties and the benefits are aligned with what Hilton offers at its own luxury properties (this was not the same for Hyatt as it offered all members a limited subset of benefits). All 418 SLH properties can be redeemed for points. Here is what is offered based on elite status:
- Member: Guaranteed member discount, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, complimentary late checkout, bottled water or hydration per stay, no resort fees on reward stays
- Silver: All of the above, plus 20% Elite Tier Bonus, and 5th standard reward night free
- Gold: All of the above, plus 80% Elite Tier Bonus, complimentary breakfast (for two guests), and space-available upgrades
- Diamond: All of the above, plus 100% Elite Tier Bonus
Newly added hotels span the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific region. Some notable properties include: Nobu Hotel Warsaw, Dylan Hotel Dublin, VISTA Palazzo Lago di Como, and Namia River Retreat in Vietnam. I redeemed Hilton Honors points for a Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) stay last summer at the Nido, Mar-Bella Collection in Corfu, Greece (review here) and had a wonderful stay.

Anthony’s Take: I love many of the boutique hotels that are part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) and bookable through Hilton. I’m happy to see the list continuing to expand as many of these properties are luxe, quirky, and located in places where the big chains have yet to arrive.

Didn’t want to, like, name the hotels? Which is the whole reason I clicked on the article?
While I’m less vehement, a listing or a link to the additions would be nice.
Added. Sorry about that.
