Marriott and MGM Resorts® announced the details of their partnership last month. With it, Marriott Bonvoy® members can earn and redeem points at MGM’s 17 resorts. We did not have a firm date when these properties would be bookable, but the first one in the MGM Collection is now available on Marriott.com.
New York-New York Hotel & Casino, MGM Collection is showing up in the search results. Most paid rates are between $89 and $499 per night (including a $42 Resort Fee). Marriott Bonvoy® redemptions vary wildly with a range of 9,000 to 96,000 points per night being displayed.
The same rate was shown on MGMResorts.com. Many of the dates I checked matched what was offered on Marriott.com (including the $42 Resort Fee).
While this is the first MGM Resorts® property added under the new partnership, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Autograph Collection is still bookable as it has been for the past few years.
When booking either property through Marriott.com, elite members should now enjoy the following benefits:

No firm date has been given when the other brands will be ready for bookings, but I’m hoping Bellagio Resort & Casino (The Luxury Collection®) is bookable soon.
Anthony’s Take: It looks like Marriott is adding properties one at a time to its offerings. We’ll have to wait and see how long it will be before they’re all in. New York-New York Hotel & Casino, MGM Collection is currently bookable and the range of points per night is all over the place. When spending 9,000 points, it’s a good deal but 96,000…not so much.
