EVA Air is adding its next US destination in November 2025. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will be the sixth city served nonstop from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) to/from the United States.

The Taiwanese airline, known for its Hello Kitty jets and lounges, will begin 5x weekly service to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on November 5, 2025. EVA Air currently flies to the following US airports:

  • Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
  • Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
  • New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

While the aircraft type has not yet been confirmed, it’s a safe bet that we’ll see a Boeing 777-300ER on this route based on the distance and number of this plane in EVA Air’s fleet. EVA Air already serves nearby Houston, so this addition is an interesting one. The airport is American Airlines’ largest hub and some speculate that EVA Air is putting a stake in the ground to deter STARLUX Airlines from flying there as it is also trying to enter oneworld® and could cozy up to American.

Anthony’s Take: The Hello Kitty jet is flying to Chicago these days and I really want to fly it. It will be interesting to see what comes of this route and when it actually goes on sale.
