Emirates Passenger

An allegedly drunk and “violent” passenger was tackled and cuffed after an Emirates cabin crew had enough of his behavior. The incident occurred early this morning on Emirates flight EK614 between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Islamabad International Airport (ISB).

Video shows two male flight attendants restrain the man while a female colleague hands them a bunch of black flexicuffs.

The passenger was said to be so intoxicated that he needed to be wheeled off of the flight in a wheelchair. This was captured by a news reporter named Amir Mateen who was on the flight. Alcohol is strictly controlled in Pakistan and Paddle Your Own Kanoo reports that incidents of severe drunkenness are not uncommon on flights there.

Anthony’s Take: The Emirates crew did not mess around in taking down this potential hazard. Luckily, they had control and the flight arrived safely.

No excuse for the passenger, but if he was so drunk it must have been visible, and who allowed him onto the flight?
He was probably wheeled off because he was ciffer.
