Delta Air Lines announced today that it’s launching flights between Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) and Copenhagen Airport (CPH) starting in May. The flights will run 3x weekly and will provide easy connections to more than 80 additional destinations through its new SkyTeam partner, SAS.
Flights to Copenhagen Airport (CPH) will be operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. These offer 34 Delta One®, 21 Premium Select, 24 Comfort+, and 203 Main Cabin seats. In addition to Minneapolis, Delta will also fly 1x daily from New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). SAS augments Delta’s offerings and flies to 10 US destinations. These include:
- Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
- Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
- Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Anthony’s Take: Delta and SAS are taking full advantage of their new codeshare agreement. Copenhagen is a great city and it will be even easier to get to next summer along with Delta’s largest transatlantic schedule ever (more here).
