Delta Air Lines announced today 11 expanded and three new routes for summer 2024. The new lineup provides lots of western options from Delta’s hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) as well as some other options from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).
Delta is adding service between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and:
- Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) (daily; starting on July 8th)
- Colorado Springs Airport (COS) (increase to 2x daily; starting on July 8th)
- El Paso International Airport (ELP) (increase to 3x daily; starting on July 8th)
- Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Oakland International Airport (OAK) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Sacramento International Airport (SMF) (increase to 4x daily; starting on July 8th)
- Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) (daily; starting on June 7th)
The flights between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) will be the first route from Atlanta to use the Airbus A220-300.
Delta is adding service between Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and:
- Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Sacramento International Airport (SMF) (daily; starting on July 8th)
Delta is adding service between Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and:
- John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) (daily; starting on June 7th)
- Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) (2x daily; starting on June 7th)
Delta is adding service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and:
- Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) (2x daily; starting on July 8th)
Anthony’s Take: I love choices and Delta’s schedule just keeps getting beefier. Even though the recent SkyMiles devaluation (massacre) left a bad taste in my mouth, I still enjoy flying Delta and will continue to do so in the future.
