Breeze Airways is adding Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB) as its 10th base. The airline is continuing to expand and this will assist with its growth. If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft (and some Embraer E190s). I recently flew Breeze for a second time and loved the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the second consecutive year in 2023. Breeze serves 62 cities in 31 states.

There are currently nine bases that Breeze Airways operates. These include:

  • Charleston International Airport (CHS)
  • Hartford Bradley International Airport (BDL)
  • Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
  • Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO)
  • Provo Airport (PVU)
  • Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD)
  • Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA)

Breeze Airways currently serves three destinations (with two more to start in the fall) from Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB). These include:

  • Hartford Bradley International Airport (BDL) (3x weekly)
  • Long Island MacArthur Airport (4x weekly; starts October 2nd)
  • New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) (2x weekly; starts November 21st)
  • Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) (2x weekly)
  • Westchester County Airport (HPN) (3x weekly)

Anthony’s Take: I am a fan of Breeze Airways, overall. I have had some positive experiences and will continue to fly them. It’s interesting to see the carrier’s growth and recent profitability.
