I’ve written a good amount about the low-cost carrier, Breeze Airways. I was impressed overall when I flew the airline to Las Vegas a few months ago (full review here). Now, it’s their second birthday and they’re having a sale plus an opportunity to upgrade into the Breeze Airways equivalent of First Class for just $2 more.
I’d been following Breeze Airways for some time and got to try them this past March. The airline started selling tickets in May 2021 with the first flight on the 27th. Breeze introduced the Airbus A220 to its fleet in 2022, flew its first transcon, and reached 100 nonstop routes. This year, Breeze began rolling out Wi-Fi and is in the midst of rebranding its First Class from Nicest (which they’re still calling out in the sale) to Ascent.
The $27 one-way fares are for Nice class on select dates and flights from September 6th to November 14th. The flights offered include (all routes below are also available in reverse):
- Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
- Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Richmond International Airport (RIC)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Westchester County Airport (HPN)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Richmond International Airport (RIC)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) to Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)
- West Virginia International Yeager Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Huntsville International Airport (HSV) to Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
- Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
- Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to San Bernardino International Airport (SBD)
- Norfolk International Airport (ORF) to Portland International Jetport (PWM)
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to Provo Municipal Airport (PVU)
- Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD)
- Provo Municipal Airport (PVU) to John Wayne Airport (SNA)
- San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
This is a pretty big list of cities and if you’re close to one of these pairs, you won’t get a better deal.
A $2 upgrade is incredible. These aren’t the easiest to find, but if you do, book it.
Anthony’s Take: Breeze Airways offers a comfortable ride (especially in Nicest or Ascent Class). If the city pairs work for you, there are some good fares to be had here. Happy Birthday, Breeze Airways!
Anthony’s Credit Card Pick: I find great value in The Platinum Card® from American Express. It has had a prominent place in my wallet for many years now. While it does have an annual fee of $695, I find the great benefits listed above, plus many others more than cover this cost. It will always be my go-to for lounge access, savings, and booking airfare from the airlines to earn 5x points. Learn more. Rates & Fees.
