Air France is continuing its push upmarket by enhancing its Premium (Premium Economy) cabin with upgraded dining and a more refined onboard experience across its long-haul network.

AF Premium 3

One of the most notable updates is a completely redesigned second meal service on flights lasting more than seven hours. This replaces the former “Bon Appétit” bag with a more tailored and elevated offering exclusive to the Premium cabin. Served on a tray, the refreshed meal varies depending on flight timing. This includes:

  • Overnight flights: A continental breakfast before landing, including a pastry, fromage frais, granola, and warm bread on flights over ten hours
  • Daytime flights: A selection of club sandwiches (including a vegetarian option
  • Flights over ten hours: An additional mixed salad served with warm bread

This change brings the second meal in line with the Premium cabin’s upgraded positioning to offer a more cohesive and refined experience.

Air France continues to emphasize its culinary heritage with a full “French-style” meal service in Premium. Passengers can expect:

  • Savory biscuits, a starter, and a choice of two hot main dishes
  • Cheese and dessert

  • A welcome glass of champagne after takeoff

The airline has partnered with renowned chef Frédéric Simonin, a MICHELIN-starred chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France, to create rotating à la carte dishes (including vegetarian options). These meals are developed in collaboration with Servair and focus on fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

These enhanced dining options are available on flights departing from:

  • Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
  • Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport (PTP)
  • Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport (FDF)
  • Cayenne-Félix Eboué Airport (CAY)
  • Roland Garros Airport (RUN) in Saint-Denis de La Réunion

As well as all Air France stations across the United States and Canada Dessert options include vanilla choux buns, Paris-Brest, and chocolate fondant. On daytime flights departing Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) lasting over ten hours, passengers are also treated to artisanal ice cream from the South of France.

The beverage program is equally refined. It features French wines, beer, and champagne curated by Xavier Thuizat, alongside a seasonal cocktail crafted by mixologist Matthias Giroud.

Air France’s Premium cabin is designed to bridge the gap between Economy and Business Class, offering greater comfort and privacy. This includes:

  • Recliner seats with up to 124-degree tilt
  • Increased seat width and legroom
  • Adjustable footrests and redesigned cushions
  • Signature navy and sky-blue color palette with red accents

The latest generation seats are now installed on over 80% of the airline’s long-haul fleet.

  • 13.3-inch 4K Ultra HD touchscreens with anti-glare coating
  • Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones
  • Access to over 1,500 hours of entertainment, with a focus on French content
USB ports and device pairing for remote control functionality
