Porter Airlines unveiled its 2025-2026 winter schedule today. It boosts flights to warm-weather destinations by up to 25% during peak travel periods and adds four new routes. For the first time, Porter will operate transborder service from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) with nonstop flights to/from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) (these will run daily starting on February 2nd).

The airline is also strengthening its Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW) hub with new nonstop flights to Miami International Airport (MIA) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). These routes not only serve as popular winter destinations, but they also connect seamlessly with American Airlines’ extensive US network through the recently announced codeshare partnership. Both routes will run 3x weekly and will begin on January 24th and February 7th, respectively.

At Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Porter will launch its first-ever Caribbean route with service to Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) and expanding options for leisure travelers seeking a winter escape. Alongside the new routes, Porter is increasing capacity on several high-demand flights from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW), and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), including:

  • John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) to/from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
  • Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW) to/from Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM)
  • Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW) to/from Liberia’s Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR)
  • Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (YOW) to/from Puerto Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR)
  • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to/from Cancún International Airport (CUN)
  • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to/from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
  • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to/from Liberia’s Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR)

This growth is supported by the airline’s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft (it will operate on all routes). The service offering and aircraft features include no middle seats, complimentary premium snacks, free Wi-Fi, and a full selection of beverages served in glassware. For travelers seeking added comfort and flexibility, PorterReserve fares are available with extra legroom, fresh and healthy meals, priority airport and ticketing services, and more.

Kevin Jackson, President of Porter Airlines, said:

Our updated winter schedule represents a major expansion of Porter’s network due to the strong response from customers for our new and existing sun markets. We are supporting this demand with new routes and increased frequency on existing popular destinations. We are committed to bringing our elevated economy experience to more travelers by connecting key gateways with sun destinations at the time of year when these trips are most valued by Canadians. This growth is about offering more choices, more convenience, and the outstanding service our passengers have come to expect from Porter.”

Anthony’s Take: It’s great to see some new routes to the US and the American codeshare should help to fill some of these planes.
