Greetings from Chicago! I’m staying local this weekend and that’s okay. I need to go to Dallas, Cincinnati, and Cleveland next week on business before heading down to Tampa and checking out the St. Regis Longboat Key Resort over Labor Day weekend. In travel news this week, Alaska and Hawaiian launched their combined loyalty program, Air Canada resumed flights, several airlines added new routes, and I reviewed some in-flight meals, a hotel in San Francisco, and a lounge with one of my favorite old-school designs.
