JetBlue gets rave reviews for the onboard food it offers across cabins. Partnerships with popular restaurants have been a mainstay of the airline for many years and this fall it’s refreshing menus once again with new dishes from Charlie Bird and Dig Inn.
New York City restaurant partner, Charlie Bird has created new menus for JetBlue’s Mint® (Business Class) cabin. These include:
Breakfast:
- Greek Yogurt with honeycomb and mint
- Avocado toast with arugula, cherry tomato, and crostini
- Farro pancakes with roasted apples and maple
- Baked egg with pomodoro chickpea sauce, Parmigiano, and crostini
Lunch & Dinner:
- Sweet corn soup with brown butter, puffed sorghum, and hazelnuts
- Flat iron steak with summer squash caponata, pine nut crumble, and mint
- Chopped salad with olives, provolone, salami, and Italian vinaigrette
- Baked rigatoni with mushrooms, Parmigiano, and parsley
Economy Class passengers will find new selections from Dig Inn on routes to Europe (I used to love Dig Inn when I worked in NYC):
- Coconut yogurt with pineapple compote, pumpkin seed granola, toasted coconut, and lime zest
- Turkey croissant with smoked turkey, brie, fennel, arugula, and balsamic onion jam
- Overnight oats with fresh berries
- Chicken grain bowl with grilled chicken, tri-color quinoa, and cucumber yogurt
- Sesame noodles with grilled chicken, carrots, and daikon
- Buffalo cauliflower with scallions and sriracha
Anthony’s Take: These menus sound delicious and I wish more airlines would bring in restaurant partners as it tends to elevate the in-flight experience.
