BermudAir connects Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) to the United States and Canada. It flies to 21 destinations in North America. In January, I wrote about the airline acquiring two new Embraer 190AR-E1 aircraft. Now, the routes that those aircraft will serve have been revealed.
These flights will see the larger aircraft deployed soon. For context, these are currently served by 70-seat Embraer E175 aircraft. The Embraer 190AR-E1 planes offer 96 seats. Routes include:
- Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) (upgauged on June 2nd)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (upgauged on May 21st)
- Charleston International Airport (CHS) (upgauged on May 31st)
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) (upgauged on June 7th)
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) (upgauged on May 31st)
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) (upgauged on June 2nd)
- Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD) (upgauged on May 22nd)
- Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) (upgauged on June 1st)
- Westchester County Airport (HPN) (upgauged on June 1st)
The rest of the routes served by BermudAir (shown above) will continue to use the Embraer E175.
Interestingly, BermudAir has also received government approval in Bermuda to potentially start these routes (come on, Chicago and Tampa).
Anthony’s Take: I really want to go to Bermuda in the future to check out the St. Regis and fly BermudAir. I don’t see this happening until maybe the fall, but I’m keeping an eye on flights.

It would be cool if they decided to serve GSO to operate BDA-RDU-GSO.
Spend thousands of dollars in gas to save people a short drive? lol
