Pasta is one of my favorite dishes to order in flight and with few exceptions it’s a choice that I will usually make. On a flight between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) today, I preordered the Beef Lasagna.

The Beef Lasagna was served with a green salad and a packaged Bell’s Cookie Chocolate Chip Cookie. The lasagna did not taste like beef and had tons of onions in it. It was okay, but would have been better if it were warmer (it was served lukewarm).

The Bell’s Cookie Chocolate Chip Cookie is cheap for First Class. Dessert should be something better than a packaged cookie. United recently started serving Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding. Delta should look for a similar partnership (like it has for its recently announced Shake Shack burgers).

Anthony’s Take: I found this meal to be just okay. It needed to be warmer and dessert was disappointing. I’m not ruling out ordering it ever again, but I would likely try something else next time.
