Southwest Airlines is adding a dozen new routes this coming summer with Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) seeing most of the additions.

  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO) (daily; starts on June 5th)

Other Routes

Five additional routes are also being added. These include:

  • Charleston International Airport (CHS) to/from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) (1x weekly; starts on June 7th)
  • Colorado Springs Airport (COS) to/from Cancun International Airport (CUN) (1x weekly on Saturdays; starts on June 7th)
  • Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) to/from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) (daily; starts on June 5th)

Anthony’s Take: Most of these routes do not currently have nonstop flights. Southwest is going through some changes and it’s good to see that it continues to update its route network.
