Roger Allan Holmberg Sr., 75, was not a happy passenger while cruising through the heavens closer to God. His wife, who unbeknownst to him, is an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan MVP Gold member got a First Class upgrade on flight AS275 between 275 Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). This allegedly caused the pastor to flip out, curse at her, gesture at her with his middle finger, and even attempt to smack her while in flight.

The Independent reports that the couple was traveling from Virginia to Alaska for a meeting “related to their ministry.” Mrs. Holmberg was in First Class while the pastor was seated in Economy. He reportedly came forward multiple times during the flight to harass his 59-year-old wife (this is his second marriage and they have been married for around a year and a half). In the first of three incidents, he allegedly asked, “how the hell did you get the upgrade?” When she told him about her status, he got angry. He then shared a message on the screen of his phone and flipped her off. When all of this was not enough for this man of God, he reportedly attempted to smack her. The passenger next to her attempted to block it, but apparently he still hit her in the head. This is apparently not the first time he has been physical with her and his wife admitted that he broke her finger in the past.

Alaska Plane

An off-duty police officer was sitting in the row in front of Holmberg’s wife noticed “a disturbance.” The complaint reads that when Holmberg emerged from the lavatory, the officer told him that “if there were any further incidents, [he] would [be] put him in handcuffs.” An FBI special agent and an Anchorage Airport Police officer met the plane and arrested Holmberg. Holmberg’s wife told authorities that her husband “had a history of abusing her.” He also “knew [she] had epilepsy and that contact to [her] head could cause a seizure.” Under questioning by airport police and the FBI, Holmberg admitted that the couple had been seeing a marriage counselor.

Holmberg claimed he was “upset” about his wife’s upgrade “because he wanted his wife to travel with him and sit next to him.” That seems a heck of a way to go about getting your message across. Holmberg was arrested on one count of simple assault (within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States) and transported to the Anchorage Correctional Center to await his arraignment, which was scheduled for yesterday morning.

Anthony’s Take: This pastor’s actions don’t seem rather Godly to me. Hopefully, this is enough of a wakeup call for his wife to leave him.

What an odious swine. I loathe spousal abusers.

How dare her! Doesn’t she know her place? What kind of Christian hypocrite does she think she is? I’m calling Jesus right now so he can set her straight.

When I first moved to Florida, I learned the most dangerous place to be on a Sunday was between the doors of a Baptist church and an ABC. Rules for thee but not for me.

Project2025 will soon require this type of abuse. Women will not be allowed to vote and daily beatings will commence immediately. If you are a woman and planning to vote for Satan, think again, please.

Google “Project 2025” and you’ll see why this behavior towards women will be OK.
