I’ve spent another week at home enjoying the city of Chicago and the warm weather here. In November, we’ll make the trek back to Tampa for the winter. Lots of news this week with JetBlue’s upcoming lounges, many routes added for next summer to Europe including a nonstop flight from New York to Sicily, and more.

This week multiple airlines want to join oneworld®, Alaska and Hawaiian merged, and SAS, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, as well as a few others added new routes and bumped up frequencies.

Hotels

Marriott and Starbucks are offering bonus points, The St. Regis New York is 120, Hilton added another 102 SLH properties, Moxy Hotels celebrated 10 years, and a Hyatt Place that charges for parking even if you don’t have a car.

United Club Fly DEN

Lounges

United is adding another United Club℠ Fly in Houston and JetBlue is finally getting into the lounge game.
