Volaris is a Mexican low-cost airline that flies nonstop to 18 destinations in the United States. The airline just added two new routes from Oakland International Airport (OAK) to Monterrey’s General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) and Zacatecas International Airport (ZCL).

The flights to/from Monterrey’s General Mariano Escobedo International Airport (MTY) began yesterday with service on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights to/from Zacatecas International Airport (ZCL) will begin on July 2nd. These will also run 3x weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. With these additions, Volaris will offer seven routes to/from Oakland International Airport (OAK). These include the two new routes above, plus:

  • Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (GDL)
  • León/Bajio International Airport (BJX)
  • Mexico City International Airport (MEX)
  • Morelia International Airport (MLM)
  • Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)
